Dr Rajgopal, on the 22nd of Feb 2010 bettered his own record of performing the maximum number of total knee replacement surgeries in under twelve hours. He performed twenty five Total Knee Replacement surgeries in ten hours. He has previously been acknowledged by the Limca Book Of World Records for performing twenty four such surgeries in under twelve hours on the 24th Of Mar. 2009. He has held the world record for performing the maximum number of Total Knee Replacements in the shortest time span since 2007- on 24th Sep 2007 he established his first world record by performing 16 knee replacement surgeries in under 12 hours and was recognised by the Limca Book of World Records for the same.
