a.. In solo practice since 1986, with professional work restricted to knee surgery (Total Knee replacement, arthroscopies and trauma around the knee) and sports medicine.
b.. Have conducted over 40 national level workshops in Arthroscopy in various part of the country and delivered several guest lectures at national level conferences. My center is accredited for training in Arthroscopic surgery by the Indian Orthopaedic association.
c.. Delivered over 50 lectures in national level conference on Arthroplasty. Conducted live demonstration surgeries as part of teaching program for Post Graduates and Fellows.
d.. I have been an invited guest speaker in several international conferences. Invited speaker in Arthroplasty conferences in Seoul, Hawaii, Cairns, Barcelona, and Dundee UK, Beijing, Shanghai, and Singapore.
e.. Delivered the Discovery Series Lecture in Dundee in Sep 02.
f.. Was awarded the fellowship of the International Medical Sciences Academy in 1996.
g.. Have to my credit over 10,800 arthroscopies and 3,980 total knee arthroplasties. We offer a fellowship under the Aegis of overseas training scheme, a fellowship program supported by Zimmer.
h.. Appointed Honorary Orthopedic surgeon to the President of India in 1997.
i.. Credited with the first bilateral TKR in India (Apr'87), first MIS Unicompartmental replacement (Mar'02).
j.. I have carried out over 306 MIS TKRs and have developed instrumentation for the same. I have the largest experience of revision total knee replacement in the country.
k.. Founder secretary of the Asia Pacific Arthroplasty Society (APAS). Presently serving on the executive committee of the APAS.
